Getting a balanced diet while in quarantine becomes a bit harder as we avoid going out, and instead work our way through the dry food cupboard - pasta, rice, tinned veg and UHT milk. But with the closure of the hotels and resorts across the island, a huge percentage of fresh produce is no longer being used and is going to waste. So whilst there is a lack of social interaction there is an abundance of fresh fruit and veg available from many of the local farms that would usually be providing for the tourism industry.
So I've put together a list of local farms and green grocers in the south of Tenerife that have a delivery service and can get those fresh goods straight to your door. There's nothing like getting fresh produce straight from the field, and most business' provide the service for free because it's in their interest to keep the custom flowing. So here we go;
